For this contemporary lakeside home project, we replaced some of the existing overgrown, mature, and non-native plantings with native trees and shrubs. By incorporating additional native species, we ensured multi-season interest and increased habitat for local wildlife, which helped align the landscape with the natural beauty of the lakefront setting.
